Quickstart

Create a key and make your first request

Draft reference · Examples use sample data.

Before you begin

This walkthrough uses a sample workspace and a nonfunctional demo key. You do not need a broker login, card or personal details.

1. Create your key

Open API key in your workspace and select Create demo key. Standard includes one active key. This step is simulated.

2. Build a request

cURL
curl 'https://API_BASE_URL/v1/quote?feed=justmarkets' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY'

API_BASE_URL and YOUR_API_KEY are placeholders. A production base URL has not been assigned.

3. Inspect a response

Open the API explorer, select Latest quote and run a sample request. Choose other response scenarios to see stale-feed or rate-limit errors.

4. Check your usage

Visit Usage & logs to see the request. Successful sample responses increase the counter; errors appear in the log without consuming the sample allowance.
