Your agreement with xauapi

These terms govern your use of xauapi.com, your workspace, and the xauapi API and MCP service, operated by xauapi. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to accept them on its behalf. Contact hi@xauapi.com with questions.

The service and market data

xauapi provides read-only broker-specific gold quotes, candles, and feed status. JustMarkets XAUUSD is the currently supported feed. xauapi is independent and is not an official JustMarkets service. Source identifiers describe the origin of observations and do not imply endorsement.

Quote observations are collected at intervals and do not capture every market tick. Data can be delayed, stale, incomplete, or unavailable, including during market closures or upstream interruptions. Check timestamps and freshness fields. Website illustrations and documentation responses contain example values, not current market prices.

The service does not place or manage trades and does not provide investment advice. You are responsible for validating data and deciding how your application uses it. No trading outcome, uninterrupted availability, exact latency, or complete tick coverage is guaranteed. Any separately agreed service commitments must be in writing.

Accounts and credentials

Provide accurate account and billing information and keep your password and API keys confidential. Use credentials only in secure systems you control or authorize. You are responsible for activity through your account and for promptly reporting suspected compromise to hi@xauapi.com.

Keys are revealed once. Replacing or revoking a key immediately ends its access. Your active-key limit depends on your plan. Account suspension, entitlement expiration, and unpaid subscription status can prevent API access. Your application must handle those conditions.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed annually in USD. Monthly-equivalent prices on the website describe the annual cost divided by twelve; they are not monthly payment plans. The annual charge, plan, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Stripe processes payments and provides the billing portal.

Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless canceled before renewal. Your checkout price applies to the subscription unless a price change is communicated and applied in accordance with applicable law. Review your billing details and renewal date in the workspace. Confirmed paid access is provisioned on the server; a return from checkout alone does not grant access.

Plan changes are managed through Billing. Upgrades may charge prorated amounts immediately; downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current period. Review the amount and effective date before confirming a change. Failed payments or an ended subscription can interrupt access.

Cancellation and no refunds

You can cancel renewal through the billing portal in your workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and access continues until then unless the account is otherwise suspended or terminated under these terms.

Payments are non-refundable, including renewal charges, unused requests, unused time, and partial subscription periods, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next annual charge. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund.

This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact hi@xauapi.com about billing errors, unauthorized charges, or a refund required by law.

Allowances and acceptable use

Your plan sets the annual allowance and active-key limit. Requests admitted by the usage gate count, including requests that encounter an unavailable feed. Rejected authentication, validation, rate-limit, and quota attempts do not consume the annual allowance. API calls, explorer requests, and MCP tools share account limits; adding keys does not multiply them.

Unused requests do not roll over. Requests stop when the allowance is exhausted, and there are no automatic overage charges. Observe the enforced request limit and Retry-After instructions. Use bounded retries and keep your integration within its allowance.

Do not bypass access controls or limits, share or sell API credentials, attack the service, probe other accounts without authorization, misrepresent data as broker-endorsed, or use the service unlawfully. You are responsible for the conduct of your application and users.

Your applications and third-party rights

You retain ownership of the applications and original content you create. Your subscription gives you access to the documented service within your plan; it does not transfer ownership of xauapi software, branding, or third-party market data. Respect applicable data rights and do not imply broker sponsorship or redistribute access credentials.

Contact hi@xauapi.com before offering standalone resale of the raw feed or sublicensing data access. These terms do not grant rights that xauapi is not entitled to grant. AI clients, payment services, and other third-party products are subject to their own terms and compatibility requirements.

Changes, suspension, and responsibility

We may maintain or update the service, correct errors, and change integrations as underlying providers or technology change. We may restrict access when needed to address nonpayment, compromised credentials, abuse, legal requirements, or a breach of these terms. Contact us if you believe a restriction is incorrect.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular trading decision. xauapi is not responsible for trading losses or indirect losses arising from reliance on market data where such exclusions are lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy, updates, and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We may update these terms and will identify the revised date on this page. Material changes will receive notice where required; changes do not override mandatory rights. For account, billing, or service questions, email hi@xauapi.com.
